What hair colour would suit me?

A question that comes up a lot. Thankfully technology can help there. There are many apps and websites (fees may apply) that recreate you as any colour you want! The magic of AI takes your photo and changes the colour of your hair, if you like the look of what you see bingo! You do look slightly roboty but the technology has moved on significantly since I started hairdressing over 20 years ago. A terrible pixalated picture of you with some hideous lego character looking wig you just dragged and dropped to see if it suited you. Spoiler alert, NO! No one suited any of it, thankfully times change. I have searched the internet to find images of this but nothing, I'm sorry, you'll have to use your imagination.
The theories of colours that suit people come from the traditional cool/warm toned skin have same hair colour. Don't entirley agree with that. Red is the most suited colour for everyone, but red is warm so by that theory reds should only work on warm toned people. They don't. If you're someone with very pale skin and blue eyes you're a cool toned person, but someone with that skin and eye colour combo can also be naturally red or strawberry blonde. That has red in it. That's a... you guessed it, warm tone. Another theory thats used is check the colour of the veins in your wrist, Blue/purple cool tones yellow/green warm.
I use myself as an example for this. I'm fair, natually dark blonde hair colour and blue eyes. The veins in my wrist are purple, so this should mean that I suit white icy blondes, cool/ mushroom toned browns and lilacs. I can tell you now I look rediculous with those hair colours. Like I'm ill. Dying almost. Not a good look. I go for light golden blondes, warm browns and copper red tones. Warm again. Like alot of things "rules" are trying to put people in boxes but not everyone can fit in a box! they are variations.

If you have very dark skin and dark eyes deep blue and purple can look fantasic! dont have to have it allover of course. Same goes if you're much lighter and go for a strong orange copper colour.

However they're definatly combos that don't go together. Example if you're natually dark haired with green eyes and olive skin, Baby pink isn't going to be a great fit for you. I bet if you fit that description you're think urhhh!
Best advice I can give on this subject is go to your hairdresser. They can advise fully on what would suit you, how to achieve it with the hair colour you currently have and how to keep it. So in conclusion ignore the google AI answer and go to see a real person who knows you and knows your colours.
Happy hair colouring. x
